| The main goal of this European project is the development of compact, high performance optically pumped semiconductor disk laser (OPSDL) in the 2.0 - 2.5 µm wavelength regime. Further on, the versatility of these new photonic components will be demonstrated by adapting the developed 2.Xµm laser sources to the needs of advanced FSO light sources and single frequency lasers for sensing and security applications.
